George Bush to address MPs at Purana Qila

Notwithstanding concerns by Indian security agencies, US President George W Bush is expected to address a gathering of parliamentarians, businessmen and politicians at the Purana Qila in the heart of the city during his India visit next month.
An advance team of US officials brushed aside apprehensions raised by the security agencies in Indiato choose the ramparts of the 16th century fort, sources said.
Advance Security Liaison team from the US Homeland Security Department has been camping in the Capital for the past several weeks to sort out security issues related to the Bush visit.
A group of officials are at present visiting Hyderabad to review security arrangements in the city where Bush would stopover on March three.
A series of meetings are being held in the capital and in Hyderabad with security and intelligence agencies to sort out the safety issues.
