Hollywood heart-throb George Clooney has revealed that of all the regrets he has in life, the biggest would be that he started his acting career in the 1980s because with balloon pants and shoulder pads, he believes it was the worst decade in fashion history.

Clooney, who has long been considered to be one of Hollywood's sexiest men, said that the balloon pants and shoulder pads that were so popular in the 1980s would 'haunt' him for the rest of his life.

"It's unfortunate that (I started my) career in the '80s, which somehow was the worst fashion period of all time. Big balloon pants and shoulder pads will come back to haunt me for the rest of my life," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.
