Clooney became famous in the 90s for his role in "ER" but was criticised for his attacks on US President W. George Bush's party. But after winning an Oscar for his role in "Syriana" and receiving critical acclaim for "Good Night, And Good Luck", he is back to being loved.

Contactmusic.com quoted him as saying: "I think the secret is always to remember - and my father (believed) this - that over a period of time, people are going to be incredibly kind to you, as well as incredibly cruel to you. And they'll probably be overly kind and overly cruel.
