Girl in porn CD not Miss Jammu: Forensic lab

The Hyderabad-based forensic laboratory has stated that the woman in the video was not Anara.

Former Miss Jammu Anara Gupta’s contention that she was not the person in the porn CD got strengthened when a Hyderabad-based forensic laboratory on Wednesday stated that the woman in the video was not her.

Gupta was arrested under the Immoral Trafficking Act by the state police and has all along been maintaining that she was not the person in the CD.

She had slapped a suit against the state police in the Jammu and Kashmir High Court demanding Rs 1 crore as damage, following which the CD was sent to the forensic lab.

Anara, Miss Jammu 2001, and her family had charged the state police with illegal confinement and violating their fundamental rights. They also accused the police of harassing and torturing them from October 24 to November 4.
