A nine-year-old girl student of an English-medium private school in Vijayawada was made to strip in front of her classmates by her teacher for speaking in her mother tongue, Telugu.
The girl’s father promptly lodged a complaint with the school principal and subsequently lodged a complaint at the Payakapuram police station. The school management has suspended the teacher.
