Girl was abused for six years

The Nagpur police arrested Radheshyam Shiv, 42, a landless labourer, at Ishani village, on Wednesday for raping his 16-year-old daughter over six years.

The police said Shiv, who hails from Balaghat in Madhya Pradesh, first raped his oldest daughter after his wife left him in 2003.

On Wednesday, the girl told the village sarpanch about her trauma. The sarpanch immediately informed the police.
