The seventh edition of the expo would also feature big domestic players like Tata Motors, Bajaj Auto, Ashok Leyland, Hero Motors, TVS Motor Company, Bajaj Tempo and LML, chairman of trade fairs of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Subodh Bhargava said.

The show has been organised jointly by Automotive Component Manufacturers Association (ACMA), Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) and CII.

Companies like General Motors, Ford, Honda Siel Cars and Toyota have, however, decided against taking part in the show but Bhargava refuted reports of high participation fee for their absenteeism and said "we are not expensive, we are competitive as compared to auto shows in other countries".

He said certain changes like tight regulation in the entry of visitors during business hours, hike in pass fees for business visitors to Rs 300 from Rs 100 and ticket prices for general visitors to Rs 100 from Rs 10 has been made to control their profile.
