The Goa Police received the complaint on Tuesday and we are trying to get more details of the case, Inspector General of Police Kishan Kumar told reporters here.

The New-York based woman, who was in Goa for a holiday, had alleged that she was forcibly dragged into a room from a stairway of the five star hotel here and raped on March 7.

However, the police complaint was lodged on March 17, only when she went to Delhi. Meanwhile, the Delhi Police have taken note of the complaint and have conducted medical examination on the victim.

Kumar said the complaint received from Delhi has no details of the victim except her name. However, Kumar refused that another medical examination was required to be done on the complainant.
