Jjhoom, a four-member band, believes that one can be one’s teacher, if the passion to learn an art never loses steam.

The four got together in 2007 and their first performance was in their homeland, Goa. The same year, they came to Gurgaon and carved a niche for themselves. What makes the band unique is that the audience plays an important role in charting the course of the evening.

Band member Glen D’costa said, “I joined this world after my studies.”

Jjhoom also has a music album to its credit titled ‘Time to Party re’ and a music video.

Each band member started his career in different fields, it was their love for music which brought them together. Vocalist Tony Fernandes said, “We all started our career in different fields. Until 2007, I was working as a chemist, when I realised that it was not what I wanted. Today, we are here — entertaining people and living our passion.”
