With big designers pitching in the wedding market, the wedding season this year is really going to be magnificent. Like always traditional colours like wine and red are in but golden is the colour, which is everyone's favourite.
Designer duo Shalini and Paras who have presented a very subtle collection, vote for gold, "Traditonal look is trend of the season but apart from wine, muted shades and golden colour is in."
Draping queen, the Mumbai based designer Shaina NC, feels that Delhi as a wedding market is big and unavoidable. She adds that multishades, corals and blues make a good addition to wedding trousseau.
Designer Neeta Bhargava has come up with a new range for brides called 'Impressionist Bloom'. The collection is in red and black with painted banana leaves in gold.
Despite designing bold designs and cuts, even young designers are voting for golden colour. Designer Sagar Mehra, who has designed jadau low cut cholis for saris and lehengas says, "Apart from gold, corals, pinks, fuchsia, magenta and blue are colours which will rule Indian wedding season."
