Three engines and 14 bogies of an iron ore laden goods train derailed as the track, in Bastar district of Chhattisgarh, was found uprooted on Monday, police said.

Unidentified persons removed the fish plates and uprooted the track derailing the goods train engines and bogies near Tilabjhodi village in the Bastar district, said District Superintendent of Police Sunderaj P.

The train was plying on the route between Kirandool and Vishakapattanam, he said.
Though no literature or posters were found from the site, police are also probing whether Vishakapatanam were behind uprooting the track, he added.
