“The objective of the campaign is to familiarise people with the diverse users of Internet and equipping them with the requisite skills for optimised usage of the search features offered by Google,” said Sandeep Menon, director, marketing, Google India.

The drive will also help Indian users save time, by showing how they can get instant and to-the-point answers to their most common queries.

The director also unveiled the top search trends that the people of Bhopal search the most using Google Trends(www.google.com/trends).

"E-governance is doing well in MP with mponline.com and vyapam.com figuring in the five web searches. Also, IRCTC's railways website, mobiles and cricket were among the most searched words on Google by Bhopal people,” he said.

Menon elucidated that since Google's mission has always been to make Search into an ideal assistant, as with the launch of Knowledge Graph last year, the engine is constructing an information backbone across the Web.
