The government is planning to put in place a training module for journalists to cover “hazardous” situations, Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Anand Sharma said on Saturday.

“We want to put in place a training module and only the Ministry of External Affairs can coordinate to facilitate that,” he told mediapersons here.
Internal security and the defence department can help creating a training module for the print and electronic media journalists to cover hazardous situations, he said.
