First instalment of forty per cent of the revised pay scales, recommended by the Sixth Pay commission with effective from January 2006, had been received, a few months ago.
However, so far no order had been issued by the government for disbursing the remaining 60 per cent, the source told PTI on Tuesday.
Employees were waiting for the Centre's nod for reimbursement of the financial expenditure that would arise out of the payment of the second instalment, which was estimated at Rs 450 crore, the source added.
