HO-HO? HA-HA?. HEE-HEE?. went CB Chansoria on Thursday morning at Aliganj. The laughter virus was unleashed. And very soon, all that one could see was people, right from those holding senior managerial positions to commoners, getting bitten by the laugh bug. They laughed their heart out, spit spleen, huffed and puffed and even ?measured their laughter!? It was quite a sight. One, where it was difficult to hold back one?s Ha Ha?Hee Hee?!

They laughed their heart out, spit spleen, huffed and puffed and even “measured their laughter!” It was quite a sight. One, where it was difficult to hold back one’s Ha Ha…Hee Hee…!

As people laughed, Chansoria, the president of Hasya Yog Kendra, Bhopal, laughed even more making the participants at his laugh class do his unique ‘dog laugh’, ‘lion laugh’, go for the all out ‘thahaka…’ Ha Ha Ha…

In about 60 minutes, Chansoria’s laugh mission was accomplished. He had come down to the state capital to spread the benefits of laughter. The 100 odd participants and scores of curious onlookers who stayed back till the end gave Chansoria another reason to laugh. “It’s spreading and that is quite heartening.

He added in the same vein, “I am 69 already but am still disease free mainly due to my ability to laugh things off. I think I would live around 90!”

Chansoria’s Hasya Yog Kendra is affiliated to International Laughter Club, Mumbai. “I have taken upon myself the task of spreading laugher among the people of UP, MP, Rajasthan, Chattisgarh etc. For the young, laughter is the best medicine and for old it’s better than the best,” says Chansoria.

“A good thahaka burns 40 calories. Try it. It’s good for everything. The old age problems, frustration of the youths…But yes, if one is a heart patient, go slow on the thahaka.” He adds, “Remember how you cry when you have stomach pain. Cry similarly in the morning pushing your stomach back with each cry. It would help you in morning constipation!” And off he went…Ha Ha..
