Monster India, part of the leading global online careers site Monster,? announced the launch of a new brand campaign, "Happy Jobs" recently.

Monster India, part of the leading global online careers site Monster,® announced the launch of a new brand campaign, "Happy Jobs" recently. The new campaign complements Monster India's current online campaigns on popular horizontal portals like Rediff.com and Sify.com. As part of its planned national marketing programme, Monster India will advertise both on television and in the print media. It will also continue its online initiatives alongside other non-traditional marketing activities. "Happy Jobs" multi-spot campaign will run from September through to December.

New President of AIMS elected
V Panduranga Rao, Vice Chancellor, ICFAI University and Founding Director, ICFAI Business School, was elected President of the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) for the year 2004-2005 at the convention of the Association of Indian Management Schools held at Goa. Devi Singh, Director, IIM, Lucknow and Rajan Saxena, Director, ICFAI Business School, Gurgaon were elected as the Vice President and Treasurer respectively.

PM inaugurates third India-ASEAN Business Summit
The Third India-ASEAN Business Summit organised jointly by FICCI and CII in partnership with the Ministry of External Affairs and the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) was held on 19th October 2004 in New Delhi at Vigyan Bhawan. The summit was inaugurated by the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh. It provided a platform for both the government as well as private sector representatives to jointly explore innovative approaches to trade and investment.

IFIM launches second batch for eMBA
The Institute of Finance and International Management B-school (IFIM) has invited applications for the Executive MBA programme, popularly known as the e-MBA. This programme has been specially designed for the working executives. The students can collect the application forms and the prospectus from the college. For more information they can log on to www.ifimblr.com. The duration of the course is 18-months. There were be 20 students in each batch to maintain high quality of teaching. The course is a combination of distance learning and classroom interaction. Classes will be held over the weekend to facilitate full attendance and participation. The students can also seek financial assistance from various banks to fund their study.

New AIMA President
Sunil Alagh, Chairman SKA Advisors and Ex- MD Britannia has become the President of All India Management Association (AIMA). He has taken over the Presidency from R Gopalakrishnan, Executive Director, Tata Sons Ltd.

RIL bags Asian Management games trophy
The team from Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) was declared the champion at the Asian Regional Management Games held at Auckland, New Zealand. The event was organised by the New Zealand Institute of Management with the team from BPCL taking up the second place. A total of six teams participated in the games.
