When Ramesh and Kumar Taurani of TIPS signed Harman Baweja for their next project, little did they know that they would have a tough time signing up other actors. To be directed by debutant Kuki Gulati , a music video specialist, the multi-starrer is an action thriller.
A source reveals, “After the Tauranis signed Harman to play the lead, they’ve approached various actors for the supporting and negative roles. But since the story revolves around Harman’s character, no one is willing to play second fiddle.”
The source continues, “The script will have to be rewritten to give more prominence to the other characters.. but without undermining Harman’s role.. lest he get upset.”
Taurani has denied approaching any actor, stating, “There is a character of Harman’s friend, but it’s a small role.. and not second fiddle. Yes, we do need to cast a known name for the negative role because the script demands that. So the question of reworking the script doesn’t arise…but who gave you this information anyway?”
Taurani says they film will roll next month, as soon as the cast, crew and locales are finalised.
