Haryana villagers block NH-1

Agitated over the alleged negligence of the Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) officials, the residents of Amin village in Kurukshetra blocked the national highway number 1 (NH1) leading to New Delhi, here on Monday. The villagers were protesting over the death of a lineman Deepak Kumar who lost his life on April 13, while working on the power line.

The villagers were protesting over the death of a lineman Deepak Kumar who lost his life on April 13, while working on the power line.


The grieved family now demands police action against the officials at fault.
