HC upholds 60 percent eligibility marks for B.eD entrance

The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad high court today dismissed a bunch of writ petitions filed by B.Ed entrance examination candidates challenging an order of Luknow unviersity fixing the 60% marks in graduates and post graduates degrees as minimum eligibility for B.Ed entrance.

The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad high court today dismissed a bunch of writ petitions filed by B.Ed entrance examination candidates challenging an order of Luknow unviersity fixing the 60% marks in graduates and post graduates degrees as minimum eligibility for B.Ed entrance.

Justice Anil Kumar said in the judgement that the eligibility fixed by the university is perfectly valid and need no interference.

It is in accordance with the aims and objects of the NCTE Act, Justice Kumar said.
