Heavy rains lashed the city and suburban areas since last night leading to inundation of low lying areas and traffic jams, police sources said on Monday.

Low lying regions like Milan Subway, Sion, S V Road were today inudated with water leading to traffic snarls since early this morning.

According to Colaba Weather Bureau, the city experienced 91.8 mm rainfall, while according the Santacruz bureau registered a total rainfall of 90.6 mm.

The weather bureau has predicted moderate rainfall to heavy showers in the next 24 hours.
