The police on Tuesday raided a hideout of a self-styled 'Area Commander' of CPI (Maoist) in Munger district but failed to nab him.
The Maoist, Seetal Koda, managed to escape, additional superintendent of police Sridhar Mandal said.

Naxalite literature, medicated mosquito nets supplied by UNICEF and NREGA job cards were seized during the raid at the hideout at Gauria village.
