Blame it on the ticket price for the two grass hills in the Ranchi stadium lying empty during the Kolkata Knight Riders’ home matches against Royal Challengers Bangalore and Pune Warriors.

They are one of a kind in the country and remind you of the famous hill at the Sydney Cricket Ground. But enjoying that extra space and fresh air comes at a cost — Rs. 2,500.

The seats in the stands that flank the hills, which have lavatories, and more importantly offer shade, are priced at Rs. 1,500. No wonder Ranchi fans took the more sensible option.
