In a poster which has appeared in Sopore area in North Kashmir, the Hizbul Mujahidden, a militant organisation, has publically threatened to kill 25 people, who according to it are associated with various security agencies.
The poster which is on the letter head of the organisation has asked the militants to stay away from these people as 'they are associated with either army or police' and can prove dangerous for militants.
"These people are associated with police and are also doing their buisnesses as a cover," the poster reads. The people listed belong to various parts of Kashmir. "We had warned these people several times and will kill them the moment they are spotted," Hizb threatens.
The poster lists the supposed crimes against each name. Most people have been named for being responsible for getting the Pakistani militants killed.
Confirming the appearance of posters in Sopore, superintendent of police (SP) Abdul Qayoom told Hindustan Times that police are trying to first establish the identity of those named in the poster.
"We have seen the posters at many places in Sopore and are investigating the matter. Our first job is to identify the people listed in the poster and we are on the job," Qayoom said.

{{/usCountry}}Meanwhile, a police source said that the posters might be handiwork of some local Hizb cadres in the area as most people listed are locals.
"I believe one person in the list is in jail right now," the official said.
