Defending champions Holland and favourites Australia won their semifinal clashes in contrasting fashion to set up a title clash in the Olympic men's hockey competition on Wednesday.

Holland overcame a fighting Germany 3-2 to get themselves just a win away from clinching their third successive Olympic hockey gold while Australia toyed with a hapless Spain for a comprehensive 6-3 win.
In other classification matches of the day, India went down to Pakistan 0-3 for their fourth loss in six matches in the competition and New Zealand beat South Korea 4-3.
The wins by Pakistan and New Zealand completed the line-up for December's Champions Trophy with the four Olympic semifinalists -- Australia, Holland, Spain and Germany -- and New Zealand making the grade.
Pakistan also qualify for the six-nation tournament as the hosts.
