Frontline Special School (FSS), a non-profit making entity run under the Frontline Human Society envisaged by a group of professional from various fields, parents of special children and social workers has taken a historical step to start a national awareness campaign with the mission to create "Frontline Future Home" which will provide committed services to the mentally challenged kids after the death of their parents or guardians.
In this endeavour, the FSS started their with an internationally acclaimed dance-theatre production performed by children with various disabilities, directed and choreographed by Guruji Syed Sallauddin Pasha.
Inaugurating the function at the Kamayani auditorium in New Delhi, Congress MP Karan Singh said that five per cent of the Indian population are physically or mentally handicap. He emphasised the need for more special schools in the country.
On the occasion Rajiv Sharma, president, Frontline Welfare Society said: "FSS mission is to create core competence for children with special needs through special education, advance therapies, spiritualism, extended family experience and superior infrastructure so that they can cope up with the challenges of society they live in.
In the next phase, the scope of this social welfare project will be broadened in order to extend the benefits of our national awareness campaign with this very special dance-theatre performance showcasing rich Indian culture by the special children".
FSS also encouraged the parents to participate along with the team in the integration programme tailored for their special child. In the forefront of all activities at the Frontline, is the team of experienced professionals, social workers and parent support group who have initiated this noble project and brought it to the present level.

I am working with these physically and mentally challenged children for more than 20 years now. Drama Therapy gives the children confidence and activates their brain as well".
