Local NSUI unit spokesman Babloo Khichi along with supporters went there with the intention of blackening the face of Komal Singh Sengar and Manohar Dodia, as they changed their statement about assault on the professor.

However, both employees were not present in the college and the protesters had to return after handing over a memorandum to the principal demanding dismissal of Sengar and Dodia. Several police officials also reached the college on receiving information of the demonstration, and helped control the situation.

Meanwhile, statements of two more witnesses were recorded before the District and Sessions Court hearing the case. College librarian Govind Kushwah, who had taken Sabharwal to the hospital after the attack, and BJP allied student leader Sanwar Patel, who also attended to the professor, gave their statements. They said they had not seen the assailants.
