1 Toothpaste for silverware:

Squeeze some white toothpaste (not gel) on a cloth and lightly rub it on the silver in straight, back-and-forth motions. Continue polishing the silverware till results start showing.

2 Use baking soda:

Take a bowl and add two teaspoons of baking soda and warm water to make a paste. Apply this paste on a dampened cloth and rub it gently over the tarnished portion. Rinse it and wipe it dry.

3 Lemon effect:

Rub a slice of lemon with table salt on the tarnished silver piece to get the shine back.
