“HSBC, with its largest footprint in the world and robust technology backbone, will be in a position to offer first of its kind of services to its premier customers seamlessly. This will help moving professionals and travellers alike in managing their finances while on the move,” said Naina Lal Kidwai, Group General Manager and Country Head of HSBC India.

HSBC Premier customers are defined as those having an aggregate engagement of Rs 25 lakh with the bank. The bank is targeting the ‘mass affluent and internationally mobile customers’, which it estimated at 1.4 million in India and non-resident Indians of over 22 million.

The facility offers seamless cross-border banking facilities, including taking their bank account, credit history and banking relationships virtually with them.
