HSGMC will open job avenues for youths: Chattha

Haryana finance minister Harmohinder Singh Chattha on Thursday claimed that thousands of youths would get jobs with the constitution of Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (HSGMC). Addressing a gathering of villagers at Adhoya village in his constituency Pehowa, Chattha said that state government would not withdraw Haryana Sikh Gurdwaras (Management) Act, 2014 and Centre was free to dismiss the government.

Haryana finance minister Harmohinder Singh Chattha on Thursday claimed that thousands of youths would get jobs with the constitution of Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (HSGMC). Addressing a gathering of villagers at Adhoya village in his constituency Pehowa, Chattha said that state government would not withdraw Haryana Sikh Gurdwaras (Management) Act, 2014 and Centre was free to dismiss the government.

Chattha said that office-bearers of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) were not able to understand the Act passed by the Haryana government on HSGMC.
He said that the state government had announced the 41 member ad hoc HSGMC, which would now take care of the gurdwaras in the state.

Chattha was accompanied by Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee member Mandeep Chattha, former city block Congress president Rakesh Badwar and rural block Congress president Karanjit Singh Chattha.
