Six persons were arrested and 3.73 quintal ganja seized from their jeep, police said on Thursday.

The police recovered the banned narcotic during a search of the jeep parked at the Nagrath Chowk last night, they said.

Six persons, including two residents of Andhra Pradesh, were arrested, police said adding the accused were supplying the ganja to prospective clients in the city.

A case was registered against the accused under narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances act and further probe was on, they added.
