I am worried about UP's future: Rahul

The AICC general secretary Rahul Gandhi expressing concern over the prevailing situation in UP, said he was committed to improve the lot of the people in the state.

The AICC general secretary Rahul Gandhi expressing concern over the prevailing situation in UP, said he was committed to improve the lot of the people in the state.

Addressing journalists here on Tuesday, Rahul Gandhi said he was looking beyond 2012. He said "I am not interested 2012. I am here till the improvment of the future of the state. I am happy that people have responded to my work here".

Rahul said that he had been focusing on Youth Congress and strengthen the youth wing of the Congress. Rahul Gandhi said he cut out short and long term goals for him in UP.

Gandhi said he was not focussing on 2012 UP assembly. "My mission is to involve youth in politics", he said. Referring to inflation Rahul Gandhi said he had already spoken to Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh on the issue.
