UK-Import Upen Patel is gearing up for the fashion week. In Mumbai, the model's average day includes working out, dancing and relaxing with friends:
My day begins at a leisurely 9.00 a.m. I have a cup of tea and a relaxed breakfast of cereals and fruits. Subsequently I head for my one-hour-long salsa class that I attend seven days a week.
I come back a little before lunch-time and have a meal high on protein and low on carbohydrates. It could be fish or chicken or pasta. I avoid roti, dal and rice.
I then go gymming at my friend Sanjay Dutt's Pali Hill home where we both train at his personal gym. I do a combination of weights and cardio-vascular exercises and then return home and cool down.
As I love eating out, the places I like to hang out are Olive for a drink with friends and then the Hyatt Regency for the best buffet in business.
If I don't have a morning shoot, I can afford to sleep late, but most days I hit the sack by midnight.
