The flambuoyant player, who strives hard to reach new pinnacles in cue sports, defeated Asian Games champion Pankaj Advani in the final of the 73rd Senior National Billiards championships on Monday.

"I don't plan to have a different strategy now that I have won this title after a long gap. It's just that I have reached a stage having gone through various curves in my career of enthusiasm, little bit of saturation," Sethi told PTI.

"Now I'm having a renewed interest in the game and I'm at a stage where I'm playing for the sheer love of the game," he said.

Sethi said it was a difficult task to win the national billiards title because of the strong players in the country.

"We have about 10 players who are capable of beating each other. To have come through such a strong field and win the National title is very thrilling for me.
