"It hasn't been easy not being part of the team and I missed a lot," Sachin told a private news channel and added, "But I'm looking at the positives, and yes, I feel fit and just happy to be back and I am ready to give my best."

The master batsman, who just recovered from a shoulder injury, sought to settle all doubts on his fitness and said even bowling or throwing was no more a problem for him.

"I'd to go through a gradual increase in workload and follow a particular rehabilitation programme. It was a step-by-step process," he said.

"Batting was never a problem. Occasionally there was pain while bowling and throwing but it has settled down and I am feeling positive," the 'Bombay Bomber' added.

Sachin, however, said the injury was also a blessing in disguise as it taught him a lot of patience and also provided him some time to spend with his family.

"Every third day I'm out and my kids don't like that at all. At times my son wasn't too happy with my absence. (In that sense) sometimes it's good to be away. But on the flipside, the rhythm is lost with a break," he said.
