You have been accused of not raising in parliament the problems faced by people of the constituency. Your comments.
It is not true. I have always highlighted the problems of the people in the parliament. I must be credited for bringing soil erosion caused by the Ganga to the notice of the prime minister. My effort led to the allocation of Rs 15 crore to carry out anti-erosion work.

People say you always remain elusive from the constituency. Do you agree?
It is not possible to meet each and every person in my constituency that comprises more than 3,500 villages. It will take me close to a decade to visit them all, even if I visit one village a day (laughs). Magar is baar, main logon ko shikayat ka mauka nahi doonga (But this time, people will have no reason to complain).

How will you do that?
This time I have made it a point to visit every village in my constituency soon after elections. I have asked Atalji to grant me special permission to skip proceedings of the parliament during that period. I have also prepared a blueprint for the purpose. Sare log chunav ke pahle ghumte hain, main chunav ke bad janata ke dukh-dard ko samjhunga (Everyone visits villages before the polls, I’ll take care of people after the polls).

Despite the indifference towards your constituency, it is said you get elected on the basis of caste configuration. Your comments.
Rubbish! People of Buxar have repeatedly reposed faith in me because they love me and believe in my abilities as MP.
