ICICI Bank to hike key lending rate by 25 bps

India's No 2 lender ICICI Bank said today it would increase its benchmark lending rate, or the base rate, by 25 basis points to 7.75 per cent and the new rate would be effective from tomorrow.

India's No 2 lender ICICI Bank said on Tuesday it would increase its benchmark lending rate, or the base rate, by 25 basis points to 7.75 per cent and the new rate would be effective from Wednesday.

ICICI Bank also said it would increase interest rates for retail fixed deposits by 25-50 basis points across various tenors.
