?Identify areas of more grievances?

THE State Government has instructed the Principal Secretaries and Secretaries of all the departments to identify areas from where more number of grievances are received or could be received.

THE State Government has instructed the Principal Secretaries and Secretaries of all the departments to identify areas from where more number of grievances are received or could be received.

Further, it has been instructed to make institutional arrangements for immediate redressal of the grievances, said an official release.

An acknowledgement of the receipt should be sent immediately and the redressal should be ensured within a maximum period of two months from the date of receipt of grievances.

The release further said that the progress as regard to grievance should also be informed to the person concerned and in case the redressal is not possible the reply should be sent within a stipulated time limit highlighting the reason.

Also, if the redressal is not possible within a prescribed time limit, the interim reply should be sent to the person. The state government has desired that all the departments would follow the government’s guidelines to ensure the speedy redressal, the release added.
