"We plan to increase the student intake from 300 to 325 next year," Chairman of the Board of Governors Harishankar Singhania said at the convocation ceremony of the institute on Saturday evening.

He said that the IIM-L was started with 30 students in 1985-86. Since then the intake had been steadily increasing and had reached 300 last year.

He said the institute's Noida campus was inaugurated this year with a capacity to take 60 students from the working managers.

In the next couple of years both the campuses may take upto 700 students.
