India, New Zealand sign new air services pact

Under the agreement, airlines from New Zealand can now operate seven own-aircraft services per week to Mumbai via Australia and/or Singapore, an official statement said in New Delhi.

Additionally, they can enter into code-share arrangements with an Indian partner airlines to five Indian cities -- Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkatta) as often as they wish, it said, adding these code services could also be via Australia and/or Singapore.

Indian carriers can operate own-aircraft services to Auckland, and code-share to Auckland, Wellington, Queenstown and Dunedin, the statement said.
