Laying the foundation stone for a residential complex at the Indian High Commission in Islambad before leaving for a meeting with President Pervez Musharraf, Vajpayee said representation of staff of both countries should be increased.
"New questions have arisen. New answers are being sought. It is important that we have more representation in each others countries," he said.
"Communication lines between the two countries should continue. We should end each others problems and try to find an amicable solution," Vajpayee said.
About the 10-acre building complex, he hoped that it would weather all storms in a reference to Indo-Pak relations, adding that people living in the complex should work for better relations.
