Dubai police on Thursday confirmed that Indian software engineer Sajan Kuriakose, whose body was found in his car on Friday last, had committed suicide by slitting his wrist and throat with a razor-blade.

Forensic examination revealed that he had slit the veins in the back-seat and moved into the trunk where he cut his throat.

Sajan, along-with his two colleagues, was wanted by the police for embezzling money of the company where they worked,

Sajan's wife Sini refused to believe that her husband committed suicide and said she would seek further investigation as she suspected foul play, local media reported, here.

But officials of the Criminal Investigation Department here told mediapersons that Sajan was wanted by police for leaking the password of the accounting software of the company he worked for.

One of his colleague was arrested before his body was found, the second accomplice surrendered when he read about Sajan's death in the newspapers.
Before committing suicide, Sajan requested his friend to send his family back to his home town in Kottayam in case something happened to him.

Sajan's wife had reported that he had problems in his office because he had given a password to one of his colleagues, the police added.
