The beleaguered Indian team arrived at Cape Town on Thursday and promptly disappeared into their rooms, still appearing shell-shocked by the humiliating 157-run defeat at the hands of South Africa in the second cricket one-dayer.

The players hardly ventured out of their rooms, choosing to do self-analysis within the sanctuary of their refuge.

They will now practice at the Newlands tomorrow morning and look to solve the riddle of playing against fast bowling on these wickets.

Shot out for a paltry 91 in just 29.1 overs by a battery of South African pacemen on a lively Kingsmead track in Durban, the Indians suffered their biggest defeat against the hosts who have now taken a 1-0 lead in the five-match series.

They have three days to regroup before facing the home side in the third match on Sunday, the first having been washed out.
