Indian truck driver killed in Iraq

Sibi Kora, 34, a truck driver from Kochi in Kerala, was killed in a landmine blast in Iraq on Monday. He had been working in Kuwait for the last eight months.

"We have no idea what happened. Sibi's Kuwaiti employers called to say he died in the blast," his cousin Shobby said.

Sibi, who is survived by his wife and two children aged eight and four, was working in Kuwait for the last eight months.

"Just the other day, he called his wife to inform about his Iraq trip," he said. Shibu's body will be bought to India in a couple of days.
