I agree with Vir Sanghvi that the cricket team may have failed India, but by being so narrow-minded and needlessly bitter, all of us have failed India far more; after all, cricket is a game and winning or losing should be taken in a sportsmanlike spirit.

Fear in the Valley

Mr Jagmohan is right in saying that the Valley Cannot Do Without Army, (Guest Column, April 1). The demand of the People’s Democratic Party is unfortunate and has no ground. It is just politically motivated, and not at all in the interest of Kashmiri people.
