DAVV vice-chancellor Dr Rajkamal inaugurated the meet. Dr K N Guruprasad and A K Dutta presided over the function. Table tennis, tennis, ball cricket, badminton, volleyball and chess championship will be held during the meet.

Holkar pair bridge competition
THE PAIR of Dr L S Sharma and Dr K L Bandi topped the table in the Holkar Pair Bridge Competition organised by Yeshwant Club for their members. The pair scored 86 points to top the table. Dr Vinod Naneria and Pankaj Agarwal scored 82 points to capture second position while Dr V K Agarwal and Subhash Jhanwar scored 79 points to be satisfied with third position.

Wrestling contest
NATIONAL WOMEN wrestlers will be in action for the first time in Indore during the wrestling competition organised by Kishanrao Ustad Vyayamshala on the occasion of Maha Shivratri. National games gold medal winner at Guwahati Sonkika Kaliramana will also participate in the contest.

The second wrestling arena measuring 35x35 is being made ready and its capacity would be from 15 to 18 thousand spectators. The organisors have made separate sitting arrangements for the ladies to watch the leading women wrestlers of the country in action.
