Mayor Sunil Sood was the chief guest on the occasion while school manager Fr Justin and Christ College principal Fr John were the guests of honour.
The investiture ceremony commenced with a warm welcome by the St Paul band to receive the chief guest. Fr Thomas extended a cordial welcome to the chief guest and the guests of honour.
A patriotic song by the school choir followed this. A devotional dance presented by the students’ added colour to the proceedings.
After administering the oath of office to the students, the chief guest said, “You should do your duty with full honesty and sincerity. I pray to God to fulfill the dreams of your parents...”
He appreciated the outstanding performance of students wholeheartedly and wished them a bright future. Tarvinder Maan (class XII) was sworn in the school president and Sakar Saxena (class Xl) as the school vice-president.
