The Chairman of Oriental Group KL Thakral administered oath to the office bearers of the Student Council. Principal, OIST Brig (Retd) Iqbal Siddiqui, Vice Principals, Directors, HODs, Faculty Members and the students in a large number were present in the programme.

In his address, Thakral said that he had high hopes from the members of the newly elected Council that they will constructively work with full devotion and dedication for the upliftment of society.

He asked them to keep the flag of OIST high by bringing laurels in the academic, cultural and social fields. He assured all necessary help and guidance from the administration in carrying out their responsibilities and activities.

While congratulating the office bearers and the class representatives, Brig Siddiqui said that since the elected members were meritorious and they had earned name in their respective fields of sports, academic and cultural activities, they will definitely meet the new challenges and demonstrate leadership quality.
