The complex equation, AL/T + 10 x AG / SF x G = TOTAL / 60 = ST, reveals the time of day a person is best primed for sex.

The sum takes in the gender of the person, the number of units of alcohol consumed in a week, the number of sex sessions and the preferred time of day for a romp into account.

Academics at the University of Cardiff teamed up with Mates Intensify to come up with the mathematical formula in time for Valentine's Day.
