ManishaKoirala plans to switch roles and try her hand at film direction, after nearly 15 years in front of a camera.
Koirala has zeroed in on two projects for her directing debut. Currently she is in Lucknow, where she is shooting for Manish Jha’s Anwar.
"I am working on a few projects and if everything materialises, I will start shooting by year-end," Koirala dislosed. However, she is not quitting acting.
"I will be selective and will sign only those films that appeal to me," she said.
She has acted in nearly 60 Bollywood films since her debut in 1991. She has acted in box-office hits like Bombay and Dil Se. she has earned a lot of acclaim for her role in Escape from Taliban. She played a Hindu woman who marries an Afghan Muslim moneylender despite her family's opposition.
