An ITBP jawan was today found dead under mysterious circumstances outside the residence of Vishwa Hindu Parishad president Ashok Singhal, police said.

Rampal (30) was found dead here inside a tent adjacent to Singhal's house, who enjoys 'Z plus' security.

There were no injury mark on his body, though a lot of white discharge was noticed outside his mouth, they said, adding the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) jawan had come to the city for his current assignment on April 30.

The body was taken for post-mortem, they added.
